Bihar Public Service Commission (PSC) is going to organize the 64th Combined (Preliminary) Contest Examination-2012. Through this, there will be 1255 appointments for different services in different departments. All types of reservation will be available only to the native residents of Bihar. Candidates of all the sections of other states will be able to apply only in the unreserved category. The Commission has invited online applications for these posts. Interested and qualified candidates can register online for these posts by August 20, 2018. The last date for completing online application is 31 August 2018.

Qualification (for all of the above)
- Bachelor degree in any subject from recognized university or institution.
Scale: 9,300 to 34,800 According to grade pay post or service, 5,400, 4,800 and 4,200 will be available.
Age limit (as per the post / service)
- Bihar Probation Service, Rural Development Officer, Labor Enforcement Officer, Supply Inspector and Block Undertaking. Caste and Anu The minimum age for tribal welfare officer is 21 years.
- The minimum age for police deputy is 20 years.
- The minimum age for remaining posts and services is 22 years.
- The maximum age for candidates of general category male candidates and other states is 37 years.
- Candidates of SC and ST category of Bihar will get a maximum of five years' exemption in the age limit. This discount will be for three years for the general category women of the state, BC and EBC candidates.
- Age will be determined on the basis of 01 August 2018.

Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination (initial and main) and personality test.
Preparatory Exam Format
- This examination will be of the General Studies topic. All questions in it will be of multiple choice type.
- There will be a total of 150 questions in the question paper. Two hours will be given to solve the questions. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English medium.

Application Process
- The online application process will be completed in three phases. Registration will be done in the first phase. In the second phase, the application fees will be paid. In the third phase, the application form will be filled.

- This will open the related ad related posts. Read it carefully and check your qualifications. Click on Instructions for filling Online Application option to know the process of online application. Read the guidelines thoroughly.
- Now click on the 'Apply Online' tab on the left side of the homepage for online application. Now a new webpage will open. Click on the 'BPSC Online Application' link given here.
- A webpage related to online will open in this way. Here you will find the 'Online Registration' and 'Login' tabs. First click on the 'Online Registration' tab. Now click on the 'Apply Online' button in front of the application form.
- By doing so, the registration page will open. Check ad number here. Then enter the requested personal information. Then verify the e-mail and mobile number via OTP. After this, click the 'Submit Registration Form' button.
- Now the applicant will receive an e-mail. It will have applicant's user name, password and login link. After this, 'Login' with the help of User Name and Password. The online link will be available for payment of application fee on the day after the application will be filed, after 11 o'clock in the morning. Pay the fee according to the category.
- Then login with user name and password at 11 o'clock the next day. This will open the application form. Now enter the remaining details here Also upload your passport size photograph (25 KB) and signature (15 kb) by scanning. Both of these files should be in JPG / JPEG format.
- Then click on the 'Preview' button to check the completed application. If there is some improvement in the form then you can. When all information is correct, finally click on the 'Submit' button.
- After this, login the applicant again to make sure that the 'Click for Application Form' button has been deleted from the dashboard.
